Returns & exchanges
Overview
We want you to love your purchase. If you need to make a return or exchange, here’s how it works:
- You have 20 days from delivery to initiate a return.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, with all product tags attached.
- Orders placed from 1st November have until end of January for returns (holiday extension). Please note, conditions of return still apply.

Conditions of Return
Full-Priced Items
Full-priced items purchased via ringerswestern.com can be returned within 20 days for a refund, gift card, or exchange (excluding postage) if:
- The item is unworn, unwashed, and free from damage, animal hair, or strong odours.
- All tags are attached.
- Swimwear bottoms have hygiene stickers intact.
- The item is not underwear or a gift card.
Any item missing tags or otherwise not meeting these conditions will not be accepted for return.
Sale Items (<50% Off)
Items purchased on sale, promotion, or special offer (less than 50% off) can be exchanged or returned within 20 days for store credit, provided they meet the same conditions as above.
Clearance Items (>50% Off)
Clearance items (50% off or greater) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Returns Process & Costs
- Online returns are available only for items purchased via ringerswestern.com and must be initiated through our online returns portal.
- All faulty product claims require photos for approval before a return can be initiated.
- Domestic returns must use a Ringers Western–supplied AusPost return label, purchased through the portal. Returns will only be accepted when shipped with this label.
- All returns are inspected upon arrival. If the product received does not match the approved return information, the return will be rejected, and the item will not be sent back to the customer.
- Items sent to Ringers Western without prior approval will not be processed, refunded or returned.
- For second returns on the same order, shipping both ways is the customer’s responsibility.
- Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Boots
Full-Priced Boots
Can be returned within 20 days for refund or exchange if:
- Purchased through ringerswestern.com
- Not worn, scuffed, or damaged.
- Returned with boot box, calico bag, plastic wrap intact, and in original condition.
- Boot box is not used as shipping box.
Boots Warranty
- All full-priced boots carry a 1-year manufacturing warranty.
- If deemed a defect: repair, replacement or refund provided.
- Wear and tear, sizing, or misuse are not covered.
- Natural deviation in shape and colour is to be expected and not covered by warranty.
Hats
Full-Priced Hats
Can be returned within 20 days for refund or exchange if:
- Purchased through ringerswestern.com
- Unworn, undamaged (brim, lining intact).
- Hat box, bag, and accessories returned in original condition.
- Hat box is not used as postage box.=
Note: Variations in colour/shape are not defects. Hats may slightly change shape during transit; they are mouldable.
Faulty Items
If your item is faulty:
- Notify us within 72 hours of delivery via the returns portal or email info@ringerswestern.com
- All faulty claims require product photos (unpackaged) and will be assessed both before and after return to our warehouse. If accepted, we’ll arrange repair, replacement, refund or store credit.
Timeframes
- From the date you initiate a return, items must be received within 15 business days.
- Returns are assessed within 3 business days (5 during sale periods).
- Refunds may take 3–5 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
- Where applicable, refunds can only be provided to the original payment method.
Return to Sender (RTS)
- If a parcel is undeliverable and returned to us, we will contact you.
- RTS fees are covered by us, but reshipping requires a $12 fee.
- If unclaimed after 30 days, a store credit minus $12 will be issued.
