Stickin' Together: Our Partnership with Serving Our People

At Ringers Western, our motto has always been about "Stickin' Together"—and that's not just a tagline; it’s how we approach life, business, and giving back. Stickin' Together: Our Partnership with Serving Our People

At Ringers Western, our motto has always been about "Stickin' Together"—and that's not just a tagline; it’s how we approach life, business, and giving back. One of our proudest partnerships, close to home and heart, is with Serving Our People (SOP), a charity born right here on the Gold Coast in 2020. They do some incredible work, ensuring no child goes hungry, lacks a safe place to sleep, or stays trapped in tough or risky circumstances.

We first joined forces with SOP back in 2023, and to be honest, we haven’t looked back. Like so many of the charities we support, it’s been one of those relationships that’s felt right from the very start. Since kicking things off, we've thrown our support behind SOP luncheons, gala dinners, and other events aimed at raising awareness and funds for their life-changing initiatives.

One particularly ‘invigorating’ aspect to this partnership—given the colossal number of coffee drinkers on the Gold Coast—is supplying the SOP cafés at Mermaid Beach and Pacific Fair with our branded coffee cups. To date, we’ve provided over 200,000 cups! That means every time someone grabs a coffee at one of SOP’s cafés, they're not only enjoying a great brew but also being reminded that community matters—and we're all part of it.

Now, speaking of being part of something, we're extremely excited to announce that we'll once again be co-sponsoring this year's Kollosche People's Ball. Put it into your calendar, because it’s happening on Saturday, 31st May at The Star Gold Coast. It's going to be an amazing evening, full of fundraising and fun, and every dollar raised will support the incredibly important work being done by Serving Our People.

James Salerno, our founder—a man who lives and breathes the brand—will be there on the night, proudly representing every one of us from Ringers. James is the kind of guy who genuinely believes in giving back—not just talking about it, but showing up and putting in the work. Alongside James will be his sister Emma, CEO of Salerno Law. Emma will be taking to the stage on the night to share a little about the Ringers Western lifestyle—one that blends mateship, family values, and a commitment to community.

Why SOP, you might ask? Well, they're doing the hard yards in our own backyard, helping local families in need—people we might bump into at the shops or see down at the beach. For us, backing SOP is just another way we get to practice what we preach: sticking together and looking after our own. Mates helping mates.

Of course, our passion for community involvement doesn't stop at SOP. We're honoured to support some other amazing causes too. We have a long-standing partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping families stay close when life gets tough. We've also teamed up with Farm Angels to support rural families navigating drought, fires, floods—pretty much everything the bush can throw at them. Plus, we lend a hand to the Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive, bringing country communities together to help tackle food insecurity.

All these partnerships reflect something we deeply believe here at Ringers Western: that we’re stronger together. It’s easy enough to talk about community, but we reckon it’s about rolling up your sleeves, getting involved, and making a real difference wherever you can.

So, whether it's handing out coffee cups, sponsoring a charity ball, or supporting Aussie families from the bush to the coast, we're proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with organisations like Serving Our People. After all, stickin’ together isn’t just what we say—it’s what we do.
