A Big Night, a Bigger Cause: The 2025 Kollosche People’s Ball
At Ringers Western, we talk a lot about stickin’ together—but on that Saturday night of May 31st, that motto came to life in a ballroom bursting with heart, hope, and good old-fashioned generosity.

At Ringers Western, we talk a lot about stickin’ together—but on that Saturday night of May 31st, that motto came to life in a ballroom bursting with heart, hope, and good old-fashioned generosity.
Held at The Star on the Gold Coast, the 2025 Kollosche People’s Ball brought together more than 1,000 guests for an unforgettable evening in support of Serving Our People (SOP). If you were lucky enough to be in the room, you’ll know what we mean when we say: that one was special.
From the first welcome to the final standing ovation, the night struck a beautiful balance between big moments and meaningful ones. Live performances from Aussie favourites Ricki-Lee and Tobiahs lit up the room, while a surprise message from Baz Luhrmann added a touch of cinematic sparkle.
But it wasn’t just about the glitz—it was about the giving. And thanks to an extraordinary show of support, more than $1.1 million was raised to help SOP continue their life-changing work delivering food, clothing, and critical services to people doing it tough across the country.
A Moment That Mattered
Among the standout moments of the evening was watching our very own Emma Salerno, CEO and Partner at Salerno Law and Executive Chairman of Ringers Western, take the stage. Emma spoke from the heart—about the Ringers Western way of life, about mateship, and about why supporting SOP is so deeply personal to our team.
Emma’s words reminded us all that giving back isn’t just a gesture—it’s a responsibility. And for us at Ringers, it’s also a privilege.
Right there to support her was her brother James, our founder and the beating heart of this brand. James doesn’t just fly the flag for Ringers—he carries the values behind it into every room he walks into. Seeing him stand shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders like Yas Matbouly, the unstoppable founder of SOP, and Michael Kollosche, whose team made the whole night possible, was a proud moment for all of us.
More Than a Gala
Sure, it was a black-tie ball with all the bells and whistles. But the People’s Ball is so much more than a fundraiser. It’s a reminder that real change happens when good people come together, roll up their sleeves, and put community first.
From the branded coffee cups we supply to SOP cafés, to events like this one, our partnership with SOP isn’t just a logo on a flyer. It’s part of who we are. We believe in looking after our own—whether they’re in the bush, on the coast, or somewhere in between.
A Great Big Thank You
To everyone who donated, bid, danced, clapped, or simply showed up—we see you. And we thank you.
To our mates at Serving Our People: your mission is mighty, your hearts are huge, and your work is changing lives. We’re proud to walk alongside you.
And finally, to the team at Kollosche—thank you for pulling off another unforgettable night and for letting us be part of something bigger than ourselves.
Let’s keep stickin’ together.
