GENERAL CARE
Dust and loose dirt should be brushed off of felt hats in the direction of the hats grain. Straw hats can be cleaned with a very mild detergent & water solution.
STORAGE
Store your hat on a hat rack, upside down on its crown, or keep your Ringers Western hat box for storage. Do not store your hat on its brim. This will prevent it from flattening over time.
REPAIRS
Some damage can be repaired. If you’re not sure how to make a repair or if you’re concerned about damaging the hat further, it’s best to seek professional advice.

FELT HATS
1. DUST
Use a purpose made hat brush to gently remove dirt and dust from the hat. Brush in the direction of the nap or grain of the felt.
2. CLEAN
If the hat has any stains or marks, you can use a damp cloth or sponge to gently blot the affected area, do not saturate the felt as this will damage it. Use a dry cloth to gently pat the wet spot dry as possible, then let it air dry the rest of the way.
3. STORE
Store your hat dry and away from direct sunlight, Ideally on a hat rack or upside down on its crown, not its brim. This will prevent it from flattening over time.
