Ringers Western Celebrates Inspiring Local Women at the Gold Coast Bulletin Women of the Year Gala

Over the weekend, Ringers Western had the pleasure of attending the Gold Coast Bulletin Women of the Year Gala at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. It was a night of glitz and glamour, celebrating the incredible achievements of women across the Gold Coast, and we were proud to be part of it.

As a sponsor, we were thrilled to present the Young Woman of the Year award. Our Chair and Co-Founder, Emma Salerno, handed the award to Charlotte Stent, a 17-year-old whose list of achievements is nothing short of amazing. Charlotte is a voice actor on the global hit Bluey, youth ambassador for AACTA, school captain at Benowa State High, and an Experience Gold Coast ambassador. She’s balancing school, university courses, and a professional career—all while navigating personal challenges with incredible resilience. Charlotte is a true example of what it means to succeed while stickin’ together with your community.

The evening also celebrated Dr Robyn Cameron, who was named the 2025 Gold Coast Bulletin Woman of the Year. Dr Cameron has raised more than $2 million for breast cancer research through initiatives like the Pink Ribbon Cup Raceday and was also honoured with the “Angels Among Us” and “People’s Choice” awards. Her tireless commitment to giving back is inspiring.

Ringers Western were delighted to host Hon Scott Buchholz MP and Hon Leon Rebello MP, sharing in the celebration of women making a real difference in our community.

The Gala was a wonderful reminder of the power of women supporting women, and the importance of stickin’ together. From rising stars like Charlotte to community champions like Dr Cameron, it was an inspiring night for everyone involved—and Ringers Western were proud to play our part in celebrating these incredible achievements.
